A shaggy miniature donkey wearing a blue knitted blanket, a plump hen nestled comfortably on its back, standing beside an open paddock gate with muddy hoofprints and scattered golden leaves, beautiful storybook gouache painting with soft dry-brush textures, expressive faces, warm chestnut, cornflower blue and buttery cream, a cheerful countryside scene full of affectionate humour.
