AI Video Upscaling is Live: Topaz Engine Powers 1x/2x/4x Quality Boosts
Are your generated videos not high enough resolution, or are old assets too blurry to deliver? Genvizu now includes Video Upscaling, integrating the professional-grade Topaz video enhancement engine. Select a multiplier, and within a few steps, you can elevate your existing videos to deliverable quality. The results are directly returned to your original generation record or canvas node, eliminating the need for export and re-import.
Two Entry Points, Right Where You Already Work
-
Generation Records: Open any video card, click "Video Upscaling," select the multiplier in the pop-up, and confirm to start.
-
Infinite Canvas: Select a video node, and you'll find "Video Upscaling" in the operations panel. The result will be placed directly back on the canvas to continue your workflow.
Both entry points share the same multiplier and pricing rules. The pop-up window displays an estimated credit cost in real-time, so you know the deduction before generation is complete.
Three Multiplier Options: 1x for Quality Enhancement, 2x/4x for Simultaneous Resolution Increase
MultiplierFunctionPrice1xEnhances quality only, resolution remains unchanged10 Credits/Second2xDoubles width and height10 Credits/Second4xQuadruples width and height18 Credits/Second
Note that the multiplier refers to each dimension's scaling—2x doubles both width and height. If the original video's composition and subject are already good, but the visual appearance is soft or details are fuzzy, selecting 1x is often sufficient. It boosts quality without changing resolution, offering the lowest cost.
Pricing Based on "Input Video Duration"
Credits = Price per Second × Input Video Seconds. For example, upscaling a 5-second video to 2x costs 10 × 5 = 50 credits; doing the same video at 4x costs 18 × 5 = 90 credits. The interface shows an estimated value, and billing is based on actual duration, so there's no need to time your uploads.
Three Immediately Applicable Scenarios
-
Revitalizing Old Assets: Videos generated with early low-resolution models or existing old footage can be brought back into the deliverable quality range with upscaling.
-
Standardizing Specs Before Delivery: If a project has several videos with inconsistent resolutions, upscale them all to HD before submitting to the client for a uniform visual experience.
-
Seamless Canvas Workflow: Generate in the Infinite Canvas → Select a satisfactory result → Upscale it in place → Continue with downstream nodes without intermediate saving or exporting.
Upload Limitations
Individual videos must be ≤50 MB and support MP4 / MOV formats. Upscaled results will appear alongside the original video in your generation records or canvas nodes, facilitating before-and-after comparisons.
